I'd be concerned that if you trashed the splines on the input shaft that they may charge you. I know they are picky about their cores, the fine print talks about all the stuff they won't accept.

It's good, I talked with Harvey before I drove it under my other truck in the first place. Told him it was going to take some brut force to get the arm off and he said there is nothing you can do to that box that we haven't seen 10x worse, you are fine.
This is the box I sent them the first time - if this is worth $200 in core haha but they replace all the shafts and seals regardless in their rebuilding of the cores.
Well i should specify, its still the SRL+ but im having matt revise it again. The shifting is still ridiculous and it downshifts way too easily while driving on back roads
I see. I'm running the standard SRL but had to get the "SRL with shifting" tune as well. Mine kept hunting around 48mph. Much happier now.
That's the old one - going back to Red Head. Used the impact to put the arm back on the new one but it wouldn't break the old one off so I resorted to brutality instead.
Did that have to be a deep socket on the Pitman nut?
how many steering boxes you gonna go thru sammie??? glad my stockers holding up,.
hauled 10k of gravel today
Actually she went through one and Redhead went through the second one................and should have paid for labor really. If I ever need one I will go to the local auto parts store for a rebuilt with a good warrantee.

It did not. But is the only 34mm that I had so is what I used. Really wasn't near as bad to get off as I thought. Immobilizing the thing was 75% of the battle - and we'll the 5ft of cheaper pipe didn't hurt.
Loaded the gun and dogs for a 7:00 am dove shoot, left the homestead @ 5:15 and just got back. On the way back two different yahoos decided they would pull in front of me to immediately make a left turn.
Just because the EX is huge and seems to be lumbering does not mean it is slow, ask the pilot of a C-5 Galaxy if he can stop on a dime.
BTW, C-5's are not slow.
First panic stop and he performed magnificently. I was on the binders with both feet, thankfully did not have to perform evasive action, the ditch did not appear to be friendly.
