What did you do to the X today?
Well, almost Excursion related...
Gonna have to drive it tomorrow, been fighting the F350 for the last two days. Thought it was bad fuel, or fuel related, but after Heet, Injector cleaner, new fuel filter, new fuel and for good measure a new PCV, the truck is still missing under load. Really bad below 2000 RPM. Had a co-worker put his scanner on it, but with no CEL, there were no codes to read, and all the other readings (O2, Cats, etc) was showing great!
Sooooo, I think that I have a COP going bad...
Any good Ideas how to tell which one?
Thanks!
Garry

If it's misfiring at idle you just have to unplug them one by one until you don't hear a difference. That one is your bad COP, because it wasn't working before or after you unplug it.

Take it back and cause a fuss! They have the weights across from each other! Must have been the floor sweeper/gopher substituting for the resident balancer......lol.

Not quite.
I remember when I worked at a tire shop in high school...the balancer indicates required weights for the inside and outside of the wheel. Sounds to me like the balancer thought that the inside and outside of the wheels were 180 degrees out of balance.

Quite.........
In other news, extractor wouldn't grab hold good enought to get the stud out. So I took the welder after it one more time. This time, I started in the hole that I had drilled for the extractor, than did as normal and filled up so I could get the nut welded on, and bam.
It's out.
Total time about 4 hrs work to remove manifolds and studs.

YOU SUCK!
And well Congrats!
Stewart don't ban hammer me for my potty mouth, but HOLY cow - must be a me curse, everything is harder for me..
They screwed it up, they should fix it. You paid for it to be made right, no sense in paying for it twice.
Well Uncle Sam finally paid me back. Just ordered some Rancho 9000s. I went with rs999273 for the front and rs999275 for the rear. Those were recommended by the Rancho site sponsor since I have the v codes in the front and very soon new b codes in the rear. Also will be ordering the newer style tow mirrors when they get back in stock next week.
Dave - glad it went well for you but please tell me the secret to welding? The welds I tried might as well as been bubble gum, nothing would stick.
I'm with you. I might demand my money back but they wouldn't touch my wheels or truck again. That isn't rocket science that's simple math, morons! Had mine done just a few weeks ago, all my weights are in the center of the rims, so tells me it was just high or low spots, no lateral issues of any major degree. That's probably the worst wheel weight picture I've ever seen. WOW!
