rear end axel tube sliped help
I have a 03 f-250 psd 4x4 I bought the truck from an auction wrecked and fixed almost everything except this. One of the axel tubes that go into my rear pumpkin has twisted a little and now the blocks the leaf springs sit on are different. It has made my rear end slightly point tward the drivers side and my truck cat walks down the road. I had the frame measured and its square. I noticed my U-Bolts were at different angles from eachother. I tried using big pipe wrenches while the the rear end was still on the truck to twist it back and weld it. It wouldent move so I dropped the rear end out and have it on my welding table. It has 3 shear pins or somthing that have broke off and came out easily they are near the pumpkin. Im guessing these three points on each side have something to do with holding these tubes strait? I have having a really hard time with this and could use some help. I called a local rear end shop and they have never heard of it and dont know how to fix it. Let me know if you have any Ideas Thank you for all your help in the past you guys have saved me alot of time and money and i really appreciate it.

Geting the rear square again in not easy add to that the housing has undergone major stressing and impact. I'd doubt if the tube is straight.
If you realy have to do it your self try making a jig like I use in this article for my race cars.
How to Manufacture a Rear Axle Housing for a Dwarf Car / Modlite Race Car
however you'll have to reset the gears as they don't pull out the front like the toyotas or the old 9inch fords.
