I have a 2001 superduty (427000 miles) and I have NO rear tail lights ! The trailer tow plug works and the front park lights work. But no rear tails, what is wrong ? all fuses are good. Need help amd ideas. Thanks
Nice mileage. Just don't let Bill see it
My 99 has 2 fuse boxes. While the one under the hood operates trailer lights, the one under the dashboard operates the markers. I hope you checked both of them?
If the bulbs are good, the next common problem would be bad ground. Get a test light and start poking.
not much to go on but if the brake and turn signals don't work then look at your turn signal module(lever). I guess the brake lights go through it, mine went out and after exhausting my trouble shooting I took it to the dealership and they put a new lever in and all is well. Now if it's all lights then check the wiring harness connectors under the back of the truck, I've seen them all bugged up also. Another thing is if someone tapped into the wiring harness with one of those cheap connectors, corrosion gets in there and ruins the wire. Good luck. stg
