Hello all. I bought this truck a few months ago, and finally decided to show it to the world.
It's a 1984 F150 Explorer package (300 straight 6, auto)with 115,000 original miles.
When I bought it, it had only 110,000 miles, came with 5 new tires, new fuel pump, new parking brake line and assembly, and a new trailer hitch. It also came with the camper you see in the picture. Only paid $1000 for it. In these last few months, the only things I've done to it, are replace the brake master cylinder, and have the carburetor adjusted(truck sat for 5 years). Aside from that, the only issue with it is the radiator leaks some. I'm about to have the truck painted this weekend, and after that, I'll look at the radiator and see what needs to be done.
The body is in decent condition given it's age. The only rust is surface rust found on the hood and around the doors.
I'll post up before and after pictures of the paint job. Thanks for looking.
Well, here's the almost finished product. Some of the chrome still needs to be polished, the camper shell is either getting replaced or painted to match. Haven't quite decided.
