After reading many pages of posts, I am beginning to put together just what it is I want to do to my '97 PSD. I read often about downpipes and larger diameter exhausts. I have a couple of questions about this. First, what are some of the choices for downpipes and exhausts (manufacturers)? Are there complete, bolt-on kits?
Second, in my area there is no emissions testing. I removed the cat on my 460 F250, but only noticed modest gains; is there anything significant to gain from my diesel if there is no catalytic converter?
Thanks for the reply Ken. Can the 3" downpipe be coupled with the 4" exhaust, or must it all be the same diameter? Is there a reducer available in other words?
