Four wheel drive?
Have an 1987 Bronco II. Trying to find out full instructions for engagement and disengagement of 4x4 system. Thought it was just the shifter. But discovered Dial's on the front wheel hubs..................how to use - how to use...

Wrong part of site, you should be over in the Bronco II section. This is the Full size Bronco part. And I don't mean the early bronco section.

First off: welcome capearosa. You probably don't have the owner's manual with you anymore, but you could search the net for it, there will probably be a .pdf around. Now, i think you should use the shifter, then get out the truck and engage the locking hubs. If it has Low Range, you'll probably have to place the transmision in Neutral before engaging it, the same when turning it off. There is a section of the forum devoted to Bronco II models, you can also ask there for better answers.
