Porterfield pad update
Last week I put a set of Porterfield R4-S pads in the front and back on new rotors.
All I can say is Holy cow this huge a moungus truck stops good.
I've had these pads on my wife's RX-8, and my Autocross car pictured in my avatar. I figured I would put them in the truck when time came.
As expected they fit perfect and after proper bed in procedures stopping has significantly improved over anything I've ever tried. I can modulate the brakes infinately under braking. (They are not like an on/off switch)
Haven't towed with them yet but the Engineer at Porterfield said they are good to 1000 degrees.
and for you waxers, 1 week of driving and no visible dust.
