Rad Cap?

Hey guys,

What's the standard pressure for the rad caps in these trucks? Been working the dually a lot in the hot weather, and I'm getting some antifreeze around the neck/top tank area around the cap, and suspect the cap is leaking rather than it going to the overflow. I was hoping to steal one of the spares, but the rubbers in them are both so cracked it's not worth the time to swap them.

Two I can't read, the third says 13PSI? Seems high, but I know these diesels run hot, so maybe that is right? Is that the only option to run in these, or are there other pressures depending on conditions/options on the truck etc?

Figures.... I grabbed a 7psi cap while I was out and about. I'm thinking that will lower the boiling point some, I wonder how much of a difference it would make?

7psi is good for older radiators of questionable strength, I have that in my truck and I have no cooling issues, but my fan does move lots of air thus preventing potential excessive heat buildup (where a higher-pressure cap would come useful).
