New Guy from Morgantown!

Peeps and Peepettes,

Welcome to Striderwv (Doug) from Morgantown...our newest new guy!

Dude, we're gonna want to see some truck pics soon! Of course, Morgantown is just a hop and a skip from Carlisle...so showing up at the All Truck Nationals would be cool too!

Ya'll be nice to Doug and WAVE!

Joe

Hi Doug.

Clarksburg here.

Welcome to the chapter and FTE.

I do a good bit of work in Morgantown, so I may see you one day.

Two jobs going right now, one in Fairmont at Middletown Mall, the other in Bridgeport at Blue Dot Casing yard.

Who you work for?

CTL or Triad?

CTL is doing a global stability test on our Fairmont job right now.

9 foot void (mine shaft) at 62 to 71 foot depth with a projected minimum 4500 yards of concrete to fill

I have worked with several people from both companies over the last 10 years.

Over 21 years @ Triad. May have already seen you around.

Hey do you know of any good body shops. Got rear ended yesterday; thank G-O-D for tow packages. Just got the bumper and 7 way plug. Not so lucky for the corsica, rolled the hood and trashed the front. Also looking for good diesel mechanics in our area. Dealerships and individuals. Looks like my oil cooler may be on the way out. Don't know which way I will go, depends on if the extended warranty will cover the cooler. Thanks. Doug

If it is going to the dealer, Chenoweth Ford here in Clarksburg has an excellent diesel mechanic.

Mickey Cochran also runs a diesel shop over on the east side with very good reports from everyone I have talked to that had work done there.

Body shops, not very well versed in who does the best/good work in the body repair business.

I trhink I remember a Doug with Triad working on the Ruby Tuesday job several years ago.

What part do you do exactly, field work or the engineering?

Thanks Dave, just what I needed. Do you have Micky's phone number?

I'm a geotechnical engineer, but don't ask me how to spell it. lol. Ruby Tue's at Glenmark Center? Don't recall being there, but it's all running together nowadays.

No, Ruby Tue at Eastpointe here in Clarksburg.

That was several years ago, actually more than 5 years ago, say 2004.

304-623-9006

If I remember right, he is on vacation this week.

So you do as much work in the lab as out in the field?

Mostly go out with the drillers, log the borings and check the site out. Go back to the office and write the report. Do proposals to get work. Seems like I'm in the office more nowadays. Eastpointe, next to what?

You have a guy named Mike that works with you, can't remember his last name right now.

I worked with him a bunch back in 01 on a site for WODA in Anmoore.

Back in 04 he was in Elkins for another WODA job.

Can't remember where, I just saw him about a year ago again.

Drove a white 4x4 little truck, Mazda maybe.

CRS is kicking in bad here lately.

Well that does it. the cure to my CRS. I was involved with all the Woda projects. I recall you all did a top notch job at Anmoore. I think Mike Hoban was the tech. What's your company's name.
