Steps for lifted Excursion
Hi all, I have a customer with a 4.5" lifted excursion. This is used as a limousine although not stretched. It has the oem plastic running boards which are not low enough for older customers to get in. What recommendation would you have, drop the oem step? Some kind of lower replacement that won't break the bank but will hold up reasonably well to north east road salt. I know there are power folding varieties but thats not really the direction we want to go. Thanks for any advise

Maybe the stock Ford tubular step is low enough? They came in regular cab, extended cab and crew cab models. It would be pretty easy to fit a crew cab tubular step to an Excursion.

I have the oem Harley Davidson Ed. boards from my '07 LBCC available but don't know how much of a pain it would be to get them to you from CA. I put the AMP Research boards on right after I bought the truck so they are in very good condition.
