HELP PUTTING V 10 BACK TOGETHER

Ok here it is i bought a 2000 ford excurison 4x4 v 10 for cheap it had a rod bearing knock measure crank joural its with in specs i need help how to clean up crank a little and also any info on how to make sure that im doing this right while the motor is in the truck . One of my problem is that the person who owned the truck before me took off the oil pan and oil pick up tube fan throttle body assy alt starter and exhaust off before i brought the truck i need info on how to put back together please help me any info would be helpful thanks

I'm offering a suggestion:
If you are not familar with installing these items mentioned, I suggest that you find someone you can trust to do it for you.
When it gets down to micing a crank, inspecting rods and bearings this is serious business as far as the motor goes. Also makeing sure you don't have oil leaks upon installation is important.
Now the same goes for air leaks on the throttle body and etc.
Now from the parts that have been removed its almost like whoever removed these parts were going to remove the engine.
Get someone who is a mechanic to help you.
Also check the heads for broken manifold bolts.

I really wish I could help you by telling you what to do but sometimes something small overlooked can be a major problem.

I would suggest this Post be Posted in the V-10 forum you can get a lot of help from those guys.
