I have a 98 E.B. Expy and the check engine light came on. When idling, it sputters and drops to around 500 RPM, almost stalling. I think its a bad O2 sensor, from what I've read. What should be the cost at the dealer to look at and replace??
$50, $100, $150?????
Make sure you know which O2 sensor it is. I believe that the Expi's can have up to four sensors on them, depending on the engine setup. I am not sure of the price but I don't think that they are too expensive.
I would check the EGR valve for proper operation and vacuum. There have been several posts in the past pertaining to EGR and the symptoms that you have mentioned. Good luck.
