emergency brakes

emergency brakes

I'm told that the rear brakes are a disk/drum combo, is this accurate?

Yes, that's correct. The disk portion is for the regular brakes and the shoes are for the e-brake.

Thanks, do you happen to know if the rotor and drum one piece or two separate pieces?

thats neat, thanks for this pic. Ford must of did some changes from the 98 to 99 models for on my 98, the rear rotors are not vented as your pic shown.

That might be a generic picture of a rotor/drum part. I don't remember at this point if it was the actual part for the Expedition. So the vents may or may not an accurate representation.
