Hi guys
Just bought a 2000 F350 powerstroke. Not new to diesels but this is my first powerstroke. Been following the forum for a while now and I have to say this is were I've learned the most. Seems like a great place. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions and comments now that I finally have a 'stroke. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pics once the forum lets me
I've been so busy. I almost forgot about this site until I got a e-mail today on a post that I did a couple years ago on bypass systems for 7.3 power stroke diesel oil systems it's good to be back. Place to be, if you want to gain knowledge on your truck. Good luck and be safe
Welcome Derek. Tell us a little more about your new to you truck. Man these trucks can be a heck of alot of fun. You can also meet a great group of people here to help you on it if needed.
Thanks guys
Its a 2000 F350 Regular Cab 7.3. Shes only got 104,000 on her and I got her for $9700. I bought it cause it already has all the Fisher plow hookups on it and I've already got Fisher plows. Everything is stock expect the intake has K&N stickers on it, soon to be replaced with a 6637. Plans include a straight pipe and gauges and I'd like to do the F650 dash too. Do you need a certain number of posts before you can post pics?
You might need to become a supporter to post pics but I am not completely sure. (most forums are that way though...) At any rate, that really didn't matter to me. I became a supporter because this site has saved me sooooo much time and money that I'd be a fool NOT to support this forum. Money well spent.
Welcome to FTE, and like Barry (riverrat41) said, hang around and learn with us! There are alot of people with alot of knowledge around here to learn from. Unfortunately im just a learner and not a teacher but......................
welcome aboard, don't forget put your location in your profile. This is a true brother hood and most will be willing to lend a hand in person if you are close, sometime even if you are not.
Thanks guys,
Heres a pic from the other night when I first got her home. I need to wash and wax and then probably clean up the engine compartment once I get the 6637 in.
