Code 213 After Changing Distributor
Code 213 After Changing Distributor
Ok heres the deal. Truck ran great, but sometime would not start or it would randomly die. After doing research on here and getting a PIP code I decided to change my distributor.
Cant afford a new one so I chanced it on a refurb one. I put it in, pulled the SPOUT and it fired right up. I timed it to 10 and it purrs like a kitten.
Then I put the spout back in while the truck was still running, the RPMs raise like their supposed to but runs rough, like its about to die and its "putteing, and missing".
So I reset continous mem codes. And ran a KOER test. I get a 213. Which means the SPOUT circuit is open. I know its in good, and the trucks timing did advance after plugging the spout back in.
Any ideas? Bad distributor?
