If you put some gas in a 20oz coke bottle, and turn it over on the nest and leave it standing up in the hole, the gas and fumes will kill them, and the bottle keeps it and them contained in the nest. Like Chief says, works best in the dark.
Also, if you don't smoke, get a cheap pack of cigarettes and put in your first aid kit. Break a little piece of one off, wet it, and put it on a fresh sting covered with a bandaid. It somehow draws the poison out. I have used this several times. My boy got stung 7 times one day, and 30 minutes after application, you couldn't tell he'd been bit. My mom is allergic, and she still swells, but it reduces her reaction considerably......

Tobacco on a sting. One of the great common sense remedies my dad graced me with that has eased a lot of pain for me over the years.

Hey All, been busy this weekend, went up to Union MS yesterday to run some crown mldgn at my daughters and boyfriends house, that's a hard thing to do when the house was built in the early 40's there was nothing square about the walls much less the whole house, LoL! We made it work though. Went up in the attic of my house this morning and did a little work before it got to hot. Had to put a pump on my pool today, I might have waited to long not having one because the water has turned green, oh well, we didn't swim that much this summer anyway. I might put it up for sell if anyone wants a 24' x 4' above the ground pool, I'm about tired of messing with it!

I'd like to buy it A) cause I'd like to have water to swim in & B) just to **** off the hysterical, er... Historical Society.

Good morning everyone. I realize this is a Ford group, but just thought one of you may know where an old man could find a good used JD Gator 4x2 at a reasonable price. The one I have enjoyed for the past 15 years put me down Sat while riding my 3 yr old Grandson. Something caused it to blow the oil out and the engine locked. I have never had to add oil so not sure what happened. Harley

Yes I found one yesterday in Illinose that should be here in a few days. It is suppose to be a complete assy (just take the old one out and put the new one in). Hope that is what is coming. Sure do miss the thing. I ride everywhere, even to the mail box. Harley
