1999 F-250 SD 4x4 problems. HELP!

Picked up the truck today from the shop after I had the spark plugs changed and had them look at my 4x4 too.
guy said it needs new locking hubs.
takin in back in next week to have them put in the WARN locking hubs. Will run me $300
