zf s542 length
Do any of you know how long the zf s542 with the 4x4 tail housing is? I'm putting together some fitment numbers on a M-c6 swap to a 351W zf and can't find info on how long that bugger is. I'm sure it came in some of your trucks.

trans length
26 1/4 case length. out of truck, sitting with tail up and bar across rear where transfer case would bolt to. trans is for 460.

Thanks guys I'll look forward to hearing from you. A guy responded to one of my other posted requests and said the small block with tail to 4x4 was 29 5/8" sure hope so, that means the swap will be 7/8" - longer than original set up.
