Dual exhaust

I found a dual exhaust system from flowmaster but the pipes out the muffler are 2 1/4 inch. will shrinking the pipes out hurt anything.

Won't hurt anything. Two 2 1/4" pipes will flow more cfm than a single 3" pipe.

Not to mention, the primary pipes at the y-pipe are stock 2.25", so it's perfect.

just got my exhaust in the mail today but no y-pipe yet, dont know whats taking so long. looks like a fun weekend.

I'm not a welder so I took the truck to a one man muffler shop, he cut the T-pipe out with a Sawsall and welded the Y-pipe in for 25 bucks.

Good deal for 25 bucks........I'm a welder and if I found a guy to do it for that price.....he'd be doing it.

Any chance of hearing a sound track when it's done?
