Is that the tower that has (or had) the big "W" painted on it? I didn't know there was still public access there.

Had a Crab lumpcake sandwich in Catonsville, MD a little while ago with George. Don't ask me what a Crab lumpcake is but it tastes like.....Crab.

Killing time in the terminal @ BWI for another couple of hours before the flight.

Well, I would hope with a name like "Crab lumpcake" it would taste like crab. I would be a little concerned if it tasted like chicken...

Not sure, but I doubt it. This is a ground tank, not a tower, and I don't think there is a good view of it from any major roads. Hellman park entrance is at the top of Greenleaf Ave, near Orange Dr. There is parking, and an underground water tank there. You climb up the canyon, lots of switchbacks and a pretty good elevation gain. When you reach the ridge at the top you intersect Rattlesnake trail, which at that point is a graded dirt road. The graded dirt road leads west a few hundred yards to the water tank. You are close to the Pagoda at Rose Hills, and overlooking newer sections of the lawn at Rose Hills, as well as all the way to downtown L.A. toward the west.

The water tank is also a field Helopad for the county fire department, and some communications equipment. There is a propane emergency generator too. The tank is fenced off, but they have a trickle of water into an old bathtub for the wildlife and it is a nice treat for the dog at the top.

This is total coincidence, but we went to see the latest Adam Sandler flick, Grownups last night. The popcorn was good.

Ya' know Anthony, I'd bet you're the only on one this entire forum who cares one whit!

Let us know when you REALLY grow up.

In the meantime.......

I for one am getting really tired of reading this all over FTE land. I suppose it could be considered spamming under the guidelines!

The sign showed it was a Lump Crab cake, but they were sold out. So we actually had a Back fin crab cake sandwich.

You're not home yet?

I ran into a 3 mile backup at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge going east. 11 toll boths funneling cars to the 2 lane bridge.

At least I didn't have to travel west on the 3 lane side of the bridge. That side was backed up for 7 miles.

Got home around 6:15 ish EST.

Marge has told me several times already, that when we get to New England late next year, one of the things on her agenda is to get me some "real crab cakes".

So, where do I get definitions of the many kinds?
