ZF5

How many people have had problems out of there ZF5 putting it in reverse?

94 F-250 turbo I have to put mine in 1st then go to reverse or it will grind when I let out on the clutch in reverse.Sometimes it only goes halfway an pops out when I go to back up When I do get it in reverse it works fine Truck has new master an slave cylinders and clutch disengages good So there is no grind when I put it in reverse Just when I let out on the clutch

PS: What size tires do yall run on your trucks

reverse is a unscinized gear and as the gear and shaft wear it happens. also depends on how hard tranny has been used.

you ever have trouble shifting into any other gears with it grinding? your bushing that goes between the clutch petal and clutch master cylinder rod may be worn and not letting your engage the clutch fully. and we all run different tires. from factory size goodyear to 42" super swampers.
