Fuel injectors?
I have a 2002 4.0sohc explorer which swallowed a valve I purchased a complete motor from a 05 mustang (4.0sohc as well) I swapped the intake, exhaust manifolds,water neck,injectors (the injector plugs were different) upon start up with only 1 vacuum line missed it started right up up nice but has a miss.
number 5 and 6 cyl seem to be dead they both have 125 compression,spark from the coil pack and @ the new plugs,I checked the injector plugs and seem they were snapped in place.while running if you remove either plug wire #5 or 6 theres no change in motor tone ( I know this is a primitive test however im an old out board mechanic and we used to use this method lots for diagnostic purposes) if you pull of plug # 4 the moter stalls so looks like thats the only one working on that bank. could it be 2 bad injectors side by side any advice is appreciated ..
