Question 390fe build up

Hey everyone im in the process of building a 390 and wondering what HP everyone thinks i can get from my build up. 390 mercury super marauder motor with c1ae heads which have taller intake ports than most 390 heads. The heads will be ported and polished to match the Performer Rpm intake. The heads are gonna be worked and have cobra jet sized valves installed in them. Im thinking a cam with around a .530 lift and a duration of around .275. With the pistons i plan to run i should get around 10-1 compression. Also i plan on running a edelbrock thunder series 650cfm carb. To finish everything off i plan on running a good set of headers. Anxious to hear what everyong thinks, thank you guys.

Sounds great. I agree with running a good set of headers. I would recommend "STAN'S" headers. I got a set for my 75 F250. They are not cheap but they fit perfectly. I just used a little bit of heat wrap around my starter just in case. Just my .02¢
