HPOP

Yet another HPOP opinion thread. Thanks to some thinking and help from Travis, I have decided on what I want to do to my engine. head gaskets and studs, Hybribs from either Swamps or Jim, and a H2E. Well I was wondering what would be a good HPOP for what I want? Cheaper the better. But good HPOP and I am not picky who its by I just want reviews. Thanks guys.

I've had my TE modded 17* for a couple weeks now and I felt a significant difference. It runs so much better and smoother, it feels new. It only cost the price of the 17* total but you send back your 15*

Another vote for the Termy modded 17°. But you might want to wait... the T1 is going to out soon it sounds like.

More flow than a modded 17°, but still using the 17° swash plate. Joey's not talking too much about it. You can buy a new 17° from Joey and have it modded and its about the same price as an Adrenaline, or buy a used one (typically $150) and have him mod it. He doesn't charge much for the mod.

I emailed him and going tog et a price from him. I am super serious on his pump now that I found a paper I had written a while back. I think it will be my best choice.

I wouldn't do headgaskets unless they are leaking.

The factory gaskets usually seal very well because they have been through so many heat cycles. I would do the head studs one at a time like most guys do on here, but leave the factory head gaskets intact.

I didn't say they are good for boost. I said they are good with headstuds for boost.

They are already heat treated and seated, no reason to bust them.

Why you think cody got so upset when he accidentally broke his loose?

This is an HPOP thread either way.

modded 17 is cheaper than adrenalin I think, if its not, its not much more. Its around 600 for a new modded 17. Or you can get a used pump with a 19 degree swash plate called the adrenalin. Your choice. (I'd go with a new one)
