Regen Help

My truck goes into regen every 85 to 100 miles and I left it at dealer yesterday for this. Called dealer this morning for info and they said the computer says it is regening at 164 miles average. I have also had a extreme vibration when going out of regen. Has anyone noticed how often regen on there truck happens or had any vibration issues.

average since when? last 1000 miles, or total?

so you could both be right.. prior was 300 miles, now is 80 miles, average is 160..

Truck has 1200 miles so I guess there average is based on this. The last 600 miles of this is my 85 to 100 miles regen interval.

I regen more often if I am doing pure city stop and go driving. Sometimes twice in the same tank like you. I have never seen the regen message when towing when the engine is good and hot.

Doing mostly city driving, at about 800 miles now. Seems to average about every 150 miles. Most of the time at a bad time when I am almost where I am going. Wish it said when it is finished or kept the message that it is doing it up there until you click OK or its finished.

I now have my truck back from shop and have some regen info from Ford. The frequency and lenth of regeneration events fluctuate while factors are determined by by vehicle drive cycle, ambient temperature, vehicle loading and vehicle operator driving style. Under normal driving conditions, regeneration frequency varies from (100-500 miles) between each occurrence. The duration of a normal regeneration event varies between 10 and 40 minutes. The duration of a regeneration event may be reduced if a constant speed above (30 mph) is maintained.
