Below is a pic with 4 numbers (1-4). Will someone who knows the answer to what these items are, please describe them? This is not for fun, I don't know what these items are and wish to know more.
1- a mild yellowish box with plugs running into it
2 -a gray item that appears to be on the CAC tube
3 - two red toggle switches behind the air filter
4 - some sort of fitting going to what looks like a fuel line type connection.
P.S. These are off my early Job 1 (2008) with 53K miles. I love this truck

1. I am surprised the 4wd is vacuum operated as opposed to solenoid/servo
2. Do I need to learn the throttle body like I do on a gasser?
3. What do the two red taggle switches on the ECM do?
I don't believe they are any kind of toggle switch. They are hold downs to "lock" the plugs on the wire harness to the ECM to keep them from vibrating loose. Not 100% sure on this but that is what they appear to be when I have looked at mine. Just my 2 cents.
