Ball Joints On Expedition
I just got a whopping $1200 estimate to replace the lower ball joints and put shocks on all the way around. I was told the lower ball joint is an intregal part of the lower control arm and not a serviceable component.
Several auto parts dealers sell just the ball joint, making me think it can be replaced alone.
What is the correct answer, and can I do it myself? Any dangers or things to watch out for?

Ball Joints On Expedition
i'm pretty sure you can replace just the balljoints on these trucks , you have to remove the knuckle to get enough room to press it in and out with a ball joint press, i hope you got some good air tools
