Heres ome pics of my 1986 F250 XLT Lariat - 6.9L Diesel, 85K miles. Great truck, bought it from the family of the original owner.
PO was nice enough to include his driving/fuel and maintenance logs that show every tank of fuel used and every MPG per tank since new along with every maintenance and service item performed as well.
Thats a VERY nice truck,,congratulations! I have the same one except its white and in in lots of peices right now,,,,,I dont know about the seat,If it were mine I would leave it alone, not often you see one in that kind of shape!! Good for you !!!
Very nice,,,,Every thing looks great! the only thing I dont like is that fram filter! I prefer the NAPA gold #3811 but thats just me. You want me to come out and haul that old boat off for you?? he he he...Thats fine...we dont see many like that here anymore, everyone has went to the all fiberglass modern type,my Grandfather was a shipwright, and built boats like that many years ago.I think Festus was wanting to see the Glow plug relay and that fender,Not many are still original. Thanks for the pic,!!
Ahh, I thought Festus was pulling my leg... wiring INSIDE the fender was how I read it.. ya know... like a snipe hunt? I do have the original relay, no remote push button on this truck. The IP was done about 10K miles ago, and all the brakes were done last year, other than that it is as from the factory. Yeah, that FRAM scares me, at least he threw a motorcraft on the oil filter. Heading out for a Wix oil and Fuel filter today, my first oil change.
Yeah that Chris Craft is lots of fun, 1959. Its all souped up with a built SBC, edelbrock intake and carb, mild cam and pertonix electronic ignition. Hauls azz. The name is Flashy Taxi.
