I'm thinking about making the jump into a turner & dpf delete.
My only reason is to increase mpg. I don't need the extra hp.
Will the kit below be good for what I want?
Will this decrease my engine life at all?

That will work just fine. I am running a livewire and cat/dpf delete pipe with a stock exhaust and the stock air filter and it runs fine. I ran the canned tunes in the livewire for about a year and they ran good for everyday driving but I like the River City Diesel 450 custom tune the best for mileage and overall performance. I tow with it and have monitered the temps and it is just fine. The extra HP tunes usually give you better mileage when you stay out of it. Oh and Rudys is a great place to deal with also!
