Question attitude adjustment

New here and been reading all the threads, this is cool and Thanks in advance. I want to change my expy a lil, it's a 97 4x4, 5.4L, 3.73 with the the load leveling suspension, 80,000 and going strong!! I wanna get it up for camping, towing the boat up some logging roads here in the NW. Putting a cat back system, ?? flowmaster/magnaflow?? are the high flow cats worth the $$?? I'm looking for a good rumble w/out going deaf in the cab. And is the K + N injection kit worth the $$$?? Also I want to beef up the ride some (don't have the ching for the susp. i'd really like now) a good looking set of tires, 265/70/17 on now.....anyway was hoping some of you wrench heads and research specialists wouldn't mind...Thanks...oh yeah, I also get that gravel like sound from the front end when turning left or right from a stop that I read of in other posts...pphhheeewwww

attitude adjustment

Hey and welcome aboard. I'd go for true duals from the "Y" back if I were going to dual out my Expy. I've got Hooker Max Flows on my '68. They are fairly quiet under normal driving conditions, but pretty obnoxious at WOT. I know many like the flowmasters. Don't really know what a K&N injection kit is, but I've come to like my K&N filter. I put 285/75/16 rubber on my 4x4 and love the look and ride...I can't believe Ford put 255/70/16's on 4x4's.

Good luck with your project.
