460 engine mount
OK, I have searched high and low for a engine mount kit that will not tweak or twist the first time I hammer down on my truck. Does anyone know of a place that has weld in brackets or a universal engine adapter that will allow me the piece of mind to hammer down on my truck? I don't want to find my engine rolled over on it's side because the engine adapter called it quits on me.
Anyone need a good front engine mount bracket? I haven't cut my old one out yet and wanted to know if anyone needed it before I just took a grinder to it. I plan on grinding the welds on it if that helps.

Not sure what year truck yours is, but I remember seeing conversion engine mounts from Bob's F-100's. Page 27 in their catalog has the folowing:
1. part # TD-9313 (?) universal frame mount for $110 kit; or
2. part # TD-4715 (?) Ford motor Mount pads $69 pair.

Opps...
I posted in the wrong forum. I was meaning to post in the 61-66 forum. Also I wanted to stay away from the handle bar type universals. I keep seeing this thing twisting the bar. But thanks for the lead.

have you tried the L&L guys out in Texas... they do 460 engine conversions for bunch of off road trucks and such... thats where I got my engine mounts ( that screw to the block) heavy duty stuff...not cheap but heavy duty... they might have the frame mounts also... worth a call..
