Won't idle
99' SD,reg cab, 4x4, 190,000 miles, manual transmission, V 10. I have had this truck since it was new. Last week it was running fine but got to where it would not idle. I have an Auto Tap program so I hooked it up and there were no codes. I changed the IAC valve and the TPS, both were original equipment. It didn't make any difference. Cleaned the MAF and the throttle body. Disconnected the battery numerous times to reset the pcm. The truck won't idle, if you hold the throttle you can keep it running at 1000-1200 rpm, but it runs rough. Above around 1500 rpm it runs great. On the road it runs fine except for the idle problem. I am out of ideas and have searched the posts on here for hours.

My supt drives the truck and does a lot of the regular maint. I will ask him when the fuel filter was changed last. No smoke, no knocking. I have not checked the fuel pressure.

Fixed! After reading a ton of posts, I checked the pvc hose and it had a hole the size of Rhode Island right at the last bend before the manifold. Replaced it and she runs like a champ! It is great to have access to this wealth of knowledge and people so willing to help! Thanks.
