Touch up paint question
Hello,
This is my first post so I would like to sa Hi to everyone.
I just bought a 1988 F250 and want to find some touch up paint, the problem I have is that the original color was silver and Ford recalled the paint. Ford had the truck painted Black and cream (Off-white) and I'm not sure how to find this color of paint.
Could someone offer me some help?

Only thing I can offer would be to look through any paperwork to see i the paint code is there, beyond that maybe inquire at the dealership to see if they have any records?
White and off-white's are a bear to match, there's a million different shades, so, good luck with your quest!!

that's a really tough one. worst part is, even for that year, there are 2 different shades of black (see Ford Kentucky Truck Touch Up Paint under 1988). bring it to the dealership, if they can't help, then you can get the paint match manually at a body shop.
that's really strange that they painted the truck, i have never heard of a recall like that before, but what do i know.
