What's wrong with the Ford lights? Super easy install with the wiring harness. No splicing or cutting.

Personally I wouldn't install anything but Ford parts on something that I need to drill 15 holes in the roof for.

Oh Ford OEM aren't bad at all!! In fact I was singing the same tune for a while. Wasn't even a thought cross my mind to buy something else.

Then somehow I got the thought of the ram lights and have really latched onto that idea. Just look slightly better than the big orange honky ones. A little sleeker, better fuel mileage that's my excuse anyway.

Nice, they do have a little less of the bubble look that the ford lights do.

You could probably modify that Ford harness to make it work with the ram lights.

My thoughts exactly! Was interested to see the connection on the bottom of a ram light and how similar it is to the ford harness. Can't be too hard, just positive and ground!

This is the Ram cable from ebay. Looks like you should be able to cut off the plug and splice it in place of the Ford plugs.

Good luck!

Yeah great-looking lights that's the style I want for my 97 7.3.
