You can make your own blue prints with a tape measure, paper and pencil. Design it the way you want it to look. Transfer your design to a cardboard template and see what it looks like in real life. When you're happy with it, use your cardboard pattern as your guide to cut out the sheet metal. Weld it together, then paint and install. Good luck and have fun.
I like a roll pan looks smooth
But it has one more reason, here in the Netherlands you get a big license plate, but when there is a gap for a small you may use a small license plate.
But only when the truck has his first check
they have them with the license plate cutout too.. I didn't want to put a front plate on, altho they tell me I am supposed to. I carry the front plate with me..
What is the dimentions of your smaller plate? The recess area in the roll pan would be designed for the US federal size of 6 inches by 12 inches, or 15.25 x 30.5 cm.
What kind of vehicle is this, it reminds me of a PT Cruiser but the crank hole at the bottom of the grille has me baffled. Do you have any pictures of your truck. That is a rather large plate but does look good , do you only require to have the numbers as it looks as though the background is painted to match the colour of the vehicle?

Another vote for Mar-K (MAR-K Classic Truck Parts made in Oklahoma City, USA). Electro-galvanized steel....heavy guage and made here. I have one for my 53. They will also make whatever you want...I dont think a custom plate size would be a problem for them. Good folks there. Regards.

The law is say's when there's place for a large plate you must place one,
so the cars that come frome the states and that have not the space for a large get a us size plate.
Normale we have yellow plates with black numbers.
But in the early years ,the plates where dark bleu with white.
And when you import a old car, you may use the old style plates.
