Hi all,
I am going to buy a new truck shortly. Problem I have is what to buy. I travel alot but I do not tow much. I was looking at a diesel 7.3 so I can get longer life out of the engine. Is the diesel worth the extra maintainence, or will a gasser last just as long if you take care of it?
As far as what i have heard , a diesel is better for longer trips , heavier loads, etc...I use my 2002 7.3L Diesel Excursion for my daily driver, lots of short trips , as well as towing my racecar trailer , and have had no real problems...
