Need to replace the rad

I have a 78 F100 , 351, auto, no ac .. rad has a small pinhole .. phoned around and the cheapest price was $640.00 .. yes thats correct... I thought holy smokes is there gold in there .. :P .. I was wondering what else will fit in there and work .. I can always take it out a solder it or get it recored but it would be nice to have a new rad ... also what would be the biggest tire I can fit on that truck .. all stock ..

Dude. I don't think I could find one that expensive if I tried! Try Auto Zone or Oreilly or ebay. Under $200 I'm sure.

I got mine from radiator.com, it's an aftermarket aluminum which flows and cools much better than the original for about $200.00.
