Yeah, the front ends on the newer trucks is a strange strange critter. I'd take the TTB over it any time.

I never had a single complaint about any of the TTB trucks I had, and some of them I beat on pretty hard. Never broke anything... but the alignment can be an issue. A lot of places will sell a lifetime alignment for a little more that really comes in handy on these trucks.

And no 1987-1996 F-250 ever came with a Dana 60 from the factory, diesel or not.

Get a build sheet from Ford, scan it and post it. I will guarantee that someone swapped it and it didn't come from the factory that way. Did he buy it brand new?

Back to the topic of the thread. I am really trying to put a plan or goal together for this truck and i want to stick with it. That is why i am asking your guys opinions for the ttb v.s sa. I would like to end up with 35 to 36" tires with a 4" of lift.

Just for what it's worth I've got a 1990 150 with 5.9 cummins that's been hanging over the front it for nearly 4yrs now with the same tyres (Micky T's) its had 1 alignment when I put it back on the road after the transplant and it runs on really ****ty dirt roads on H/way & its holding up really well

Miller time, in more ways than one. I'm guessing you bought the welder to match the beer, and not vice versa?

I can guarantee that it did come from the factory that way because he bought it new. I'm in Afghanistan right now so I can't hop on the scanning, but it's definitely got a D60 in the front.

It would be the first I've ever heard of. I would love to see the build sheet or even the window sticker if it still exists.
