Custom Mirrors
I have the large west coast towing mirrors on my truck and am thinking of getting some smaller mirrors to replace the ones I have now.
Has anyone done this? The smaller mirrors I am talking about are the ones from newer models, the oval shaped plastic or chrome ones.
Is there a kit I can get?

I'm about to put them on my truck (see sig link), but I've also changed my door panels & door wiring already, so they'll plug in. You need a set of mirrors (eBay ~$80ea pwr/ ~$40ea man) and the wiring for the joystick if you want power.

You'll have to cut a hole for that support arm to pass thru and drill one for its bolt thru the inner door skin, but it's pretty easy. That's a non-power non-OEM mirror, but if it's what you want... You can get a good used OE power mirror from a junkyard for about the same money.

I recently replaced my towing mirrors on my 92 f-150 nite, i bought manual paddle style mirrors like you are looking for, in order to install them you have to make some new holes in you door skin. you will also need to take of your interior door panel. you should see a hole by the speaker where you can put a screw through and thats where the paddles get their most support. if you have any more ?'s email me at Fordnite302@mchsi.com
