6637 mod

I got a wonderful package from clay at riff raff today and in it was my 6637 with its gorgeous cover haha I put the filter on during my break at work and wanted to see if everyone was keeping the box that is around the battery there or removing it??

It actually fits alot snugger then I thought it would but for some reason I dont like how it the hood sits on it but I guess the filter is so big your still getting enough air movement.

Ill get to see how it is tomorrow when I drive home but just with looks its amazing!

I coulnt be happier with the product and with riff raff!

I will get some pictures up tomorrow.

Yeah, that Clay is OK I guess, lol. Most either remove the box or at least cut parts away. If not, the filter will not lay flat.

Not the box underneth for the old drop in but the one that surrounds the battery that has the funnel coming from the nose of the truck. I mean the filter fits fine I was just curious to see if its better to remove it or just keep it.

I removed the entire stock airbox, but I left the tray/box the battery sits in,its like part of a zoodad mod with the funnel left in place.
