help with idle

have 2004 F-150 check engine lite came on and i found out that there was a idling control system malfunction...how can i fix it? and is it expensive?what do i look for????please help!!!

Service the code per the Powertrain and Emission control manual and you'll be good.

Try cleaning the throttle body before replacing any parts. The plate is prob gummed up and sticking.
