351W Engine Pull Q & A
It's that time again FTE... Time for a vote...So here's the situation... I've got a 351W that needs to be pulled and taken apart to replace the piston rings, re-grind the valve seats and have the valves possibly changed. The problem is... I need to go back to school on September 7th, and the first week of September, I need to store the truck. This means I've got 5 weeks to do this in.
This whole process will take me a while as I am a rookie mechanic, but I do have all the tools I will need to put the engine back together correctly.
So what ya'll think? Can it be done? Taken apart, re-assembled correctly and done on time to drive it to the storage location?
How long have others done this in?
