My boss has a 2004 f250 that we tow the double axle trailer with. about two months ago an axle snapped and he had a new one installed. he installed all new brake assemblies on both axles of the trailer. now after about 1000 miles the breaks are squeaking very badly under light brake. under full brake there is no noise at all though. any ideas as to why this is happening?

 

I think a brake inspection is in order to see if something is out of place.

 

I agree inspect the brakes and maybe readjust them. I replaced my trailer brakes recently and they were out of adjustment and were squeaking also, I adjusted them up and the squeak went away.
