BD Transmission
I just bought a 7.3 Powerstroke F350. It is a 1999 Lariat custom model with 170K miles.I bought it because it was well equipped. It has a 16K WARN winch with custom WARN front mount/bumper. KD cold air inlet, 5" exhaust,custom tool box with 55 gal fuel tank, new wheels and tires and a 5th wheel mount and a custom heavy duty BD transmission with life time warranty.
Has any one heard of BD transmissions? I looked at it and it has a really deep oil pan and and external filter. It also says BD Power on the side. I don't have any idea what kind of torque converter it came with. There wasn't any paperwork with it either.
If any one has heard of BD Power drop me a clue.

I found BD Power on the internet. It looks like I got a good transmission. The PO said he paid $7k for the trans and TC.
The PO wanted a reliable 5th wheel puller. That is what I will be using it for.

BD is the transmission rebuild that most of the folks on the 7.3 forum would want if you need a rebuild. The builder's name is Brian and his transmissions are supposed to be close to bullet proof. If I needed a rebuild on my transmission that is where I would go.
