Which 460 is best??????
I was wondering, which 460 is best? the Speed density or the mass air. I have a 97 F-350 4x4 w/460, and it is speed density I believe, because it does not have a mass air sensor. My question is which one is better power or mileage wise? Would it be worth it to try to switch it over from one to the other?

There was a discussion about this a few months ago about this,, sounded like the mass air was a better system and is easier to modify and enhance performance(as well as cheaper to modify) and is an OBDII system unlike the speed density which if I understand correctly is only a OBDI system
Conversion to mass air sounded beyond economical viability, better to trade for a truck with mass air than get the pieces to convert your own
