Wanting to build super short bed crew

I may be confusing things again, but I believe there was a camper special package (maybe it was a trailer special) that was still on a 133" wb. So you're looking for the 140" wb called a SUPER camper special from 73-76 and simply a camper special from 77-79. So as long as you find a 140" wb, you'll find what you say you're looking for.

For the sake of clarity, use the term "short wheel base" (SWB) and "long wheel base" (LWB) and second, use the term regular cab, super cab, and crew cab.
I'd like to see someone do crew cab on a SWB frame. .. that means a really short bed. The proportions would be similar to the Hummer H2 SUT.

My bad. My apologies... all the crosstalk with short beds and WBs of 117, 133 and 140 got me all confused.
Yeah, a crew cab on a SWB would require some mods.... I didn't say it would be easy but I'm sure it'll be only a matter of time when an FTE'er with a welder and plasma cutter goes to work building one. I think it would be ultra-cool and very unique.
... the rear floor would have to be channeled too unless it had a body lift.

Not exactly what you want - but it fits the topic.
This one was modified to fit on a stock, 2004 Dodge 2500 longbed chassis.
Front end was stretched and rear was shortened. I would have done without stretching the heed/fenders myself, but the guy is a good body guy and it looked nice.
Black truck is not mine - the white one being towed away in the last pic was...

naw - they were doing street work and that is actually around the corner kinda.
I just think if he wouldn't have stretched the front (about 10" to a foot if I remember right) then he could have used that in front of the rear wheel and added it to the bed and it would look great. It's too symmetrical now - with the hood being about as long as the bed - just looks "off" too me.
