Cleaning Wires

Hey People,
I was just about to seal my spark plug wires and noticed how dirty they were, what should I use to clean all the mug and grease off with? Carb Cleaner?

NAPA makes a great Break and Electric motor cleaner. I use it to remove any and all grease. it is non flamable and also works great on any electrical contacts that have varnish on them..ie window switches, lock switches etc.

Shouldn't, but I always use the break and elec. cleaner...esp around electronics. Can never go wrong being safe. Carb cleaner is a very good cleaner you should be fine.

Carb Cleaner is great for getting gunk off wires! I used it and then coated it with egnition sealer.

Thanks!
