Hey does anyone have some pictures / suggestions for some plastic molded mud guards. I am pretty sure that my nice chrome steps will get destroyed if I do not have anything preventing stuff from getting kicked up and hitting them. BTW does anyone have any tips for keeping the chromed running bars that come with the chrome package in good shape? Seems like they would be a high maintenance item.
First, Duraflap makes a stainless steel flap, not chrome but they might as well be because they look really good. I also purchased my mudflaps from Duraflap on June 30th and they should be arriving this weekend. I ordered the stainless drill-less flap for the front and rear with a custom design for the rear flaps (not on their list of designs). Mention ford-trucks.com and get 10% off your order (I did). Here's the link to the flaps at the manufacturers web site:
be carefull on the molded mud flaps ford recalled the front flaps for the lariat with the fender flares as they did not fit right the new replacement flaps will not be in till the end off august at the earlyest ford #bc32 16a550cb You can call husky liner and they will give you the same info. 1-800-344-8759 part #56691 front and 57691 rear I just do not want the dealer to put the flaps on that they are having problems with some dealers are not very honest

So are the husky liners recalled also or are they ok to use?
both will not be around till the end of august the 2010 flaps will not fit the 2011 so i'm going to wait and order the husky liner ones the ones i had on my 08 were real heavy and i took them off my 05 when i traded
Husky Liners has em for the 2011s now on their website. I am not sure if I have OEM fender flares though. They are only available for non OEM Fender Flared vehicles. I have flares on my Lariat however they are molded into the metal. Not bolt on. Not sure what they are talking about. I guess I have to call them for more details. I was able to get the OEM ford molded flaps for the rear. So at least I have the back protected right now.

Can you post a pic of the flaps on the rear? I'm still trying to decide which ones to get.
