For those who haven't been following my issues I'll summarize. I bought an 84 f150 351w/c6. Previous owner replaced feedback carb with edelbrock performer, and removed the smog pump and egr as well as the sensors. Truck ran ok, but without all the sensors the computer wouldn't advance the distributor so basically I had no power. Finally got the HEI installed. Gapped the plugs to .060 and wow what a difference. Not only does it start quicker, it idles smoother, throttle response is night and day different, and yes I feel the power.
